What You'll Do...

As a team, we are crafting the future legacy of DevOpsGroup and we are looking for more super talented individuals to add their mark. As the team continues to grow, we are looking to meet a Partner Administration Manager to discuss how your future could look with us at DevOpsGroup.

The Partner Administration Manager is an integral part of a small, close-knit Sales and Partnerships team and is a key position to help grow the business and make an impact. You will have the exciting opportunity to help deliver on our strategy to build meaningful and successful partnerships driving the DevOpsGroup portfolio of services and help win new business revenue.

You will support our Sales team and Head of Partnerships, providing on-going administrative duties, while maintaining and developing our Partnership status with Microsoft and AWS.

You will be accountable for generating partner documentation, day-to-day administration of Hubspot and Partner CRM’s, technical and financial governance of programmes, whilst ensuring systems are up to date with the correct contractual documentation. You will regularly be interacting with other departments, ensuring each relevant team receive the information they need to produce the required assets.

Here’s how your first month will look…

  • We will ease you into your time at DOG with a fully planned two-week onboarding process to learn our ways of working and systems.
  • You will meet your team, as well as a mixture of peers with varying experience in our Cardiff HQ
  • A team lunch will be provided on your first day for everyone in the Cardiff HQ to come together
  • We will introduce you to our key partners
  • You will work day to day with your line manager and fortnightly 1-2-1’s will be booked, you will experience your first 1-2-1 by the end of your first month
  • We pride ourselves on our openness within DOG and you will be given the opportunities to provide feedback on your onboarding and your first month at DOG. You will also receive feedback from your team and line manager during this time

By month three…

  • You’ll be working closely with your team and getting to know our clients and partners further
  • You will be offered Agile Foundation BCS training as well as our exclusive UK first Devops Foundation BCS training
  • You will have familiarised yourself with our day to day systems e.g. JIRA and Confluence, as well as sales specific CRM systems such as Hubspot
  • You will have started to use the tools available to you and are supporting the Sales teams with day-to-day activities
  • The team will have carefully chosen a team building evening
  • You will have attended a quarterly DOG Conference!

A full year with DevOpsGroup…

  • You’ll now be working closely with our Partners on a daily basis
  • You will have worked on all of the customers systems that the team supports at least once and be regularly attending partner calls throughout
  • You will have become a specialist in the Partner channel, understanding your customers priorities, and by this time, supported the sales team with a sale
  • You’ll have done a course or two, using your allocated annual training budget
  • You will now be looking for opportunities to progress
  • Picking up and working on tickets with little or no assistance will be a breeze to you now

We’re looking for people who…

Have outstanding communication skills and can build lasting relationships internally for the successful delivery of our Partnership plan at both a strategic and tactical level.  This role requires drive, confidence, passion, innovative thinking and excellent attention to detail.

We’re looking for someone who is pro-active and can manage our partner portal profiles, products and services, and can communicate this to the business effectively. If you have a keen interest in technology, then great!

The experience you’ll need…

  • Experience working in a similar Business or Sales Administration role
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organisations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience working with multiple stakeholders across the business
  • Experience with CRM systems and data entry (Hubspot a bonus)
  • Have the ability to take ownership and understand our partner tier requirements, incentive programmes and online partner administration requirements
  • Communicate the partner programmes and requirements to the business
  • Provide Administration support to the sales team
  • Basic understanding of Agile, Cloud or DevOps Principles (Desirable)
  • Experience with running channel incentive programmes (Desirable)
