People Success
Part of Lucy’s role is to support employee retention, performance, and development as well as creating and developing an awesome culture!
Having dropped out of uni and not knowing what to do, Lucy started her career in business administration. A few years of experience later, she started as the Office Manager at DevOpsGroup in August 2016. Lucy soon realised that she had a passion for people and decided to head back to college to gain her CIPD qualification. In March 2018, she then transitioned into a People Success Associate role.
Her passion for people, alongside an understanding of HR best practices, has contributed to numerous HR initiatives which have helped deliver excellent results.
One of Lucy’s proudest achievements to date was gaining her mental health first aid qualification along with 9 other members of staff. She has helped build a community of mental health first aiders to discuss and plan how to educate and support staff with any mental health queries. This has been from providing staff with workshops as well as training line managers.
Lucy believes that everyone should have the opportunity to learn and grow in their career. Through coaching techniques, she has a desire to find out what they are passionate about and how she can help people achieve their goals.
In her spare time, Lucy enjoys, photography, attempting to bake (despite not liking cake!), and singing to 80s music – the good and the bad stuff! She also likes to blog from time to time – go check it out!
