DevOpsGroup is partnering with DevOps Research & Assessment (DORA) to offer a sophisticated evaluation and benchmarking service for organisations embracing high performance IT.
DORA was co-founded in the US by three global leaders in the DevOps space, Dr Nicole Forsgren, Gene Kim and Jez Humble.
The business provides surveys to assess IT performance and uses statistical modelling to indicate how results compare to other organisations. After an interval of around nine months, follow-up surveys are conducted to measure progress.
DevOpsGroup is now offering the surveys to UK organisations as part of the ‘discovery phase’ of the DevOps service. The aim is to ensure that complex DevOps projects benefit from clear focus and direction in order to accelerate performance improvements.
Ed Pearson, who heads up the DevOps product, says the strategic partnership with DORA will be advantageous for clients that want to prioritise improvement efforts as they take digital transformation to the next level.
“DORA’s leadership team is highly respected in the DevOps arena, and the business has quickly earned a strong reputation for its robust assessments and actionable advice,” he says.
“As well as facilitating the assessments in the UK, we can build on them by helping organisations develop and implement a roadmap to High Performance IT. We advocate taking small steps in the right way at the right time, which sits well with the DORA ethos.”
DORA’s CEO, Dr Nicole Forsgren, echoes this sentiment:
“It’s important that we have a good synergy with our partners, and that they share our passion for enabling great organisations to become even better. DevOpsGroup fits the bill on all counts, with its expertise, attitude and proven track record.”
