About Ryan

Ryan sets the direction and strategy for the People function and ensures the operational excellence that DevOpsGroup has become accustomed to from the People Team. Ultimately he is responsible for keeping our people happy, hiring the best people and ensuring that we create an environment in which they can do their best work.

In a former life, Ryan studied and practised law, specialising in Employment Law. Having taken a slight change of course, he previously worked in a variety of roles including the management of HR Service Delivery and Business Partnering before finding his home at DevOpsGroup in July 2017.

Helping forge an organisational culture in which our people are happy, engaged and able to deliver their best work is what gets him out of bed in the morning. Ryan gets a kick out of never being the smartest person in the room and is proud to have helped build an organisation that enables everyone to continually learn from one another.

Ryan’s vision is for DevOpsGroup to continue to be at the forefront of employers within the tech space, providing a space in which the people can be autonomous, happy, continually learning and able to deliver meaningful work – no matter what their role.

When Ryan isn’t in work he will likely be found running up and down the Taff Trail training for his next race.
