“To win this this award is truly humbling and a huge honour. I am privileged to be leading a vibrant team; ensuring that DevOpsGuys are flying the flag for innovation in Wales, as well as nurturing the next generation of talent. This award encapsulates all of the hard work we have invested and the success we have achieved; and is a great indication of the awesome things yet to come”
The awards, now in their seventh year, have become an established highlight on the Welsh business calendar and celebrate business achievements and inspirational leaders across Wales while bringing all sectors of the business community together, irrespective of size, geography and longevity.
The DevOpsGuys story is a wonderful example of innovation thriving in the Welsh capital. From humble beginnings in 2014 in a Cardiff co-working space (“Founder’s Hub”) DevOpsGuys has rapidly grown to become an award-winning IT services company, currently employing to over 80 permanent and contract employees and counting!
James, the Co-Founder and CEO, has been vital in the success and growth of the company and for him, as a proud Welshman, it was essential that the company be based in Cardiff to aid in the growth of the Welsh Tech sector. It was important for our founders that DevOpsGuys help create an environment that encourages innovation and technical skills for the engineers of the future. Placing Wales as the hub for skills and tech ability.
Year on year they are strengthening their client portfolio, working with multi-national companies that are household brands; Vodafone, ASOS, Fitness First, DVLA, Admiral are a few examples of the DevOpsGuys client base.
